This was our 219th Courthouse in Texas to visit. That means we are at 86.2% of our goal with 13.8% left to go.

In 2008, renovations began on the Heritage building at W. Michigan Ave. and N. Loraine St., which was originally built ca. 1983. It officially re-opened on September 27, 2010 as the new Midland County courthouse. The 1930 courthouse was vacated and, as of this writing, still sits abandoned awaiting rehabilitation. – Terry Jeanson, February 2013
